Who is the Junior Associate- Full Stack Web Developer?

As a Full Stack Web Developer at Asurion, you will have opportunities to collaborate with technology, product, and business experts who understand user behaviors and real-world AI applications.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Build web applications by choosing appropriate UI frameworks and translating UI/UX design wireframes into intuitive GUI components.
- Develop features and improvements to the applications in a well-tested and efficient way.
- Implement APIs and build seamless connections between web and back-end stacks.
- Create, design, and implement layouts for new and existing web applications.
- Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders for creating innovative user experiences.
- Create and maintain database designs for data storage and data processing within applications
- Integrate external software libraries and APIs into new or existing projects.
- Build standard boilerplate frameworks to kickstart new products that reduce developer turnaround time for setting up new applications.
- Implement best security practices to secure applications and APIs.
- Awareness and exposure to Generative AI is a bonus.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Hands-on proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python with understanding of common HTML5 features, ECMAScript specification, good at page layout and refactoring, browser operation principles, browser compatibility and page rendering execution efficiency, debugging.
- Hands on using design frameworks and libraries like Material IO, Material UI, Tailwind, Chakra
- Proficiency in module management and packaging tools like NPM/yarn and Webpack
- Familiar with RESTful API and GraphQL for data transfer between front-end and back-end
- Demonstrates basic understanding of software development best practices: Version Control, Code Documentation & Review, Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Understanding of web components, component reusability design and CI/CD pipelines
