Job Description:
- Perform feasibility study for new project.
- Communicate with customers on design specifications.
- Prepare conceptual design and preliminary design.
- Run simulation to find suitable parameters that fit to customer’s product requirements.
- Perform reverse engineering drawing.
- Create custom design and recommend improvements on common parts for mechanical jig and fixture.
- Prepare necessary engineering documents for quotation and manufacturing.
- Participate in meetings with our Germany headquarters for project discussion and process alignment on a regular basis.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product design and development as well as product costing.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant working experience in a Manufacturing environment / Semi-conductor field
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in using CAD Software i.e. Autocad and Solidworks
- Knowledge of Design will be an added advantage
- Willingness to learn, flexible and positive mindset
- Effective at working both autonomously and within a team environment
- Fresh graduates (ITE, Polytechnic or equivalent) with no working experience is also welcome to apply
We are on a 5-day work week and on-the-job training will be provided.
