We are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, ensuring compliance with Singapore's workplace safety regulations, preparing essential safety documentation, and promoting a culture of safety within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including:
- Risk assessment reports
- Safety work procedures
- Safe work method statements
- Job safety analysis
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on changes in Singapore's safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as a HSE Coordinator or similar role in Singapore.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and related regulations.
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in preparing safety documentation, including risk assessments and safety work procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cooperative.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, as need to liaise with Chinese client, main con and workers.
- Proficiency in using relevant software for creating safety documentation and reports.
- Mobility as and when needed.
- Passion and willingness to learn
