Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business development activities. Build networks, cultivate business relationships with customers and business partners, seeks and identifies business opportunities in Malaysia, Singapore and ASEAN region.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets. Develops and manages strategies towards acquiring new customers and establishing relationships, continuously expand company income revenue, including adequate communication with customers to understand their needs, promote products, solutions, discuss demands and market trends, develop promotional ideas and material for new business etc.
- Makes sound business decisions and conducts due diligence for prospective business partners. Analyze data to identify business opportunities, Coordinate action plans with related co-workers and assist with the creation of presentations and proposals.
- Actively seeks new business opportunities, maintains regular communication, and shares new ideas and proposals for business development with management.
- Conduct market research and relevant analysis (example 3C) to have a better grasp on market and for decision-making purpose.
- Support Management on budget preparation and monthly progress updating to management.
- To build pillar business for the company regionally on AMR, Semiconductor and Medical.
- Prepare Department monthly sales reporting and monthly development report.
- Support in keeping control of business expenditure, ensuring it is within agreed budgets.
- Coach and mentor subordinates or junior team members to meet KPI and perform activities effectively and efficiently.
- Any ad hoc assignments by management
Requirements:
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors, or other related industry.
- Demonstrated sales record, the initiative to acquire new customers, recommend solutions and execute sales is required.
- Technical and product knowledge of electronic devices/machinery, robotic and energy are preferred.
- Proven knowledge and execution power to bring successful development strategies.
- Knowledge of the latest market and business trends is also imperative while developing business strategies to penetrate the new market.
- Data analytics skill to harness financial data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel, including overseas travel, is required.
