Procurement Officer (Coordination with Chinese Manufacturers)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our team.

As a Procurement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement activities and ensuring the efficient flow of purchasing processes. You will collaborate with various departments and suppliers to meet our organization's procurement needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and adherence to policies.


The ideal candidate will possess an excellent proactive attitude and look forward to solving new and interesting challenges. This is a full-time favorable to fresh graduates.


Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, evaluate potential suppliers, and test physical products.
  • Request and analyze supplier quotations to determine the best value for the organization.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders based on approved requisitions and supplier agreements.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid stockouts.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, spending analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and relevant laws.
  • Address and resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, and supplier performance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in understanding the "behind the scene" of a business.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
