What are we looking for?
Our Advanced Process Manufacturing, Singapore is seeking a Dock Scheduler/MIMO Coordinator with a solid background in construction, rigging and architectural support to join our growing team in Singapore. In this role the successful candidate will schedule, supervise, and coordinate all dock and move in move out activities under their ownership. The successful candidate will have 4-8 years' experience on the logistics side of large scale construction programs.
Job Scope:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
- Accountable for safe and quality Move In/Out of tools, Pedestals and components to the CR and Sub-Fab without any interruption to the Fab production.
- Lead the move-in/out walk-through and directly supervise all Move-in/out activities.
- Remove roadblocks and escalate unresolved issues.
- Supervise Pedestal Move-in and Installation. Perform pedestal quality inspection prior to move to CR and escalate to Pedestal Integrator or Structural Engineer if quality defect recognized.
- Spend the majority of the daily routine in the field to provide immediate solutions and supervision.
- Participate in the Move-in coordination meeting.
- Enforce 100% adherence to MIMO schedule.
- Ensure 100% compliance to eRequest timeline and raise the flag if there is a risk of impact to production. Responsible for compliance to IDP guidelines and awareness.
- Prepare and improve BKM’s together with the Project or Construction Coordinator for specific tools and/or activities
- Supervise move-in/out of tools/kits/pedestals activities starting from track unloading into elevator to pass through. Work in coordination with Move-in CC, Rigging, Crating and Freight contractors to ensure safe and smooth dock/elevator/pass through operation.
- Supervise transit of construction materials through dock and freight elevator.
- Due to multiple projects on site and high loading of activities, freight elevators and docks are expected to be main project concerns. Dock Scheduler shall coordinate all the dock, elevator and pass-through activities between multiple users (Rigging contractors, Tool Install, BB, PSSS contractors and others) to insure an efficient mode of operation and maximum utilization of the infrastructure. Define priorities and scheduling for each activity.
- Supervise freight elevator operation to ensure minimum abuse and maximum utilization. Involve building sustaining services in case of elevator malfunction.
- Responsible for the dock area, elevator and pass-through area maintenance and cleanliness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- 8 years in semiconductor or related high tech construction experience or
- 4-year professional degree in construction management/engineering and 4 years in semiconductor or related high tech construction experience or
- 2-year technical degree and 6 years in semiconductor or related high tech construction experience.
Skills:
- Has completed at least one Semiconductor Tool Install Project in a similar role.
- Experience in Logistics Management & Construction Management.
- Must be knowledgeable with AMHS tool start up and facilities turn on processes and procedures
- Must be knowledgeable with coordinating logistics scope and schedule with tool vendors
- Must have general understanding of AMHS tool install sequencing using the latest construction industry standards (pull planning, LPS and other new systems.
- Thorough understanding of move in move out path strategy to include background in rigging and architecture.
- Rigging experience expanded: Knowledge of various devices for tool movement, including; skids, air bearings, friction reducing materials and powered equipment.
- Architectural experience expanded: knowledge of floor loading, move path constraints, overhead constraints, view tile and cut tile restrictions.
- Knowledge of AMHS systems.
- Keen sense of spatial awareness and spatial problem solving
- Good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and have a working knowledge of office personal computer applications.
- Ability to interface with a multi-user customer base.
- Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
- Experience with construction, start-up, and turnover of facilities mechanical systems would be an added advantage.
