Service Manager (Automotive, East)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the service centre by leading, motivating, and guiding the aftersales service team to achieve business objectives and KPIs, in line with corporate policies and principal guidelines.
  • Define and drive the achievement of throughput, service turnover, profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction targets through appropriate measures, close monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Plan, organize, and enhance workshop efficiency, productivity, and staff utilization, ensuring high standards of service and repair work in compliance with brand principal requirements.
  • Provide proactive support for escalated customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints by engaging directly with customers and coordinating with customer relations and other departments to ensure exceptional service recovery.
  • Oversee all purchases related to service centre operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and brand principal guidelines, while consistently monitoring and analyzing costs and spending.
  • Plan, coach, and implement personnel requirements for the aftersales team, and establish development plans for staff through periodic reviews to ensure continuous improvement in performance and work attitudes.
  • Collaborate closely with the bike sales admin and sales department to ensure a smooth Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and the timely delivery of new bikes.
  • Stay informed about regulations and industry standards within the automotive sector.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Professional experience in the service department of an automotive dealership.
  • Expertise in managing service operations and providing technical analysis for continental bikes.
  • Strong ability to handle customer complaints effectively and deliver quality service recovery.
