Job Description & Requirements
- Ability to use MS Project
- Responsible for all projects that was assigned
- Meeting with direct clients, design consultants, main contractors and sub contractors
- Responsible for service levels, setting of priorities and goals, scheduling of projects, highlighting risks, trouble shoot and recommending solutions
- Responsible for construction details finalization with related sub contractors and others
- To understand building requirements with compliance
- To submit all required documents to building management prior to work commencement
- To ensure safety and health procedures are implemented accordingly
- To provide proper documentation for all assigned projects
- To manage project changes with documentation and ensure variation orders are issued
- To provide information and work closely with QS on all variation orders
- To generate and assist in shop drawing development
- To manage project resource allocation effectively
- To carryout site management
- To attend or conduct site meeting when required
- To drive planning and implementation of project delivery to customer
- To lead and manage all sub contractors to ensure proper execution of the project
- To ensure quality of works is achieved and government regulations are complied with
- To follow up on project progress, track against milestones set, report and take remedy action whenever issues surface
- To ensure that payments from customers are received according to payment terms
- To ensure follow up and feedback on orders in terms of lead times, costs against budget, payments etc to superior
- To verify and certify all sub contractors invoices within deadline
- To submit all required documents to accounts department for billings
- To compile and complete close out report and O&M Manuel for submission
- To effect project changes that are necessary
- To provide weekly reports on the overall status of contracts/projects
- Ability to close out projects inclusive of creating Defect Rectification Reports
