Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
- Review progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- Liaise with the client, other construction professionals
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers
- Select tools and materials
- Make safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintain quality control procedures
- Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
- Assessing and minimizing risk
- Writing of reports and keeping on top of paperwork
- Help to negotiate contracts and securing permits and licenses.
- Work closely with Account Servicing/Project teams to coordinate pre-site work and at the job site.
- Reporting to the Renovation Department Manager on site activities, including schedule, design & delivery.
- Ensuring the projects are carried out within budget, schedule and quality expectation.
- Coordinate with clients and internal departments for quotations and negotiation.
- Able to lead the renovation team in the residential renovation work
- Assist in building sales channels and contacts.
- Liaise with landlords, management & clients.
- Maintain the working procedure and safety.
- Handle in project submission and interior work processes.
- Support customer visits and sales presentations.
- Coordinate with subcon and workers for the renovation work to final hand over to the client.
- Maintain and establish close relations with clients and provide feedback to them.
- Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.
- Prepares and monitors project timelines based on project contract scope
- Reports construction progress and highlights potential delays in project schedule
- Provide technical advice to design team and to ensure construction feasibility of project scope
Qualifications:
- Diploma, certifications or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in renovation projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong negotiation and coordination skills for site supervision
- Relevant project management / building / construction supervision certifications
