We are representing our IT Solutions provider client in seeking an experienced Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering IT solutions and supporting projects across various domains, including mobile apps and websites, with a focus on cloud technologies and database management.
Business Analyst
Responsibilities
- Lead IT application projects, with practical experience in Agile methodologies, tools, and delivery.
- Implement and support projects, specifically in mobile apps or websites.
- Apply knowledge of cloud technologies, supported by fundamental cloud technology training.
- Manage vendors, contracts, change requests, and incidents/problems, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, pitching ideas and engaging effectively in both written and oral communication.
- Manage databases such as Oracle or Postgres, middleware (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and integrate automated software testing into project workflows.
- Support government projects with in-depth understanding of their requirements and processes.
- Contribute to application operations, ensuring smooth support and maintenance of IT systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of IT Application Business Analyst experience.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery processes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and completion of relevant training.
- Proven experience in Vendor/Contract Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
- Experience in supporting projects involving Oracle, Postgres databases, middleware (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and automated testing.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, able to engage with and present to stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting government projects or healthcare domain knowledge will be an added advantage.
