Description
To lead, plan, prioritise and manage multiple maintenance projects.
To prioritise tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and that maintenance project deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- To lead the most complex or critical plant maintenance projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
- To evaluate and authorise changes that significantly impact the scope budget or timeline of a plant maintenance project.
- To identify and resolve operational problems and minimise delays.
- To select and manage on-going relationships with external contractors so that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service.
- To attend all site meetings and attend to Client’s project queries and requirements.
- To select, guide and develop a team of plant maintenance team with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations.
- To ensure that organisation and government standards on safety are met.
- To ensure customer quality specifications are constantly met.
- To allocate capital and human resources to maximise productivity.
- To supervise and implement project expenses, other assets and resources with budget.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Preferably with 7 to 10 years of experience in relevant field.
