Roles & Responsibilities
· Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective working relationship with contract manufacturers acting as the key point of contact for operational issues.
· Capacity/Production Planning: Coordinate with internal teams and contract manufacturers on production schedules.
· Qualification: Implement stringent qualification plan to ensure quality standards are met.
· Quality Assurance: Work with internal stakeholders to implement quality control processes and ensure that contract manufacturers adhere to quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Operational & Engineering Support: Support production in troubleshooting and resolution of issues. Liaise with Internal Manufacturing to support engineering issues in production, improve process efficiencies to enhance productivity.
· Continuous Improvement: Support contract manufacturers on validating and implementing improvement ideas.
· Negotiation: Effective negotiation with contract manufacturers to achieve cost optimization and delivery needs.
· Performance Management: Track the operational performance of contract manufacturers and escalation of operational issues.
Project Management: Coordinate projects to ensure progress and desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in External and Contract Manufacturing (operations, quality,
technology and planning) as well as in R&D Industrial/Equipment Automation.
· Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, PCB Engineering drawing and BOM list.
· Good project management skills.
· Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· A good team player and collaborates effectively with others.
· Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure.
· Business travelling required.
