Job Summary:
The Construction Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing design solutions for construction projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure that designs meet project specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and design specifications.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for design proposals.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure design compatibility.
- Prepare and present design reports and proposals to clients and management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
