ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in tender preparation, submission, budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide contractual advisory from commercial perspective to the project through all stages.
- Proactively engage in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, system and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
- Support project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters
- To evaluate and analyze sub-contractors pricings and award of sub contracts
- To prepare specification and sub contract documents with project team
- Manage delayed and disputed costs and variation claims
- Manage, strategize and assist in EOT claims
- To look out for tender opportunities and attend site show-rounds to tenders or visit site to understand the project site conditions.
- To undertake any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Possess knowledge in construction/contract law & different standard forms of contracts.
