JOB PURPOSE
The role is primarily responsible to support the Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of the retail unit to runs smoothly and effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible and accountable for successful operation of the assigned outlet according to set objectives, policies and guidelines of the Company and to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Lead with service vision and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure merchandising framework is implemented according to the Company’s policy and guidelines.
- Ensure advertising and promotion plans are properly and effectively implemented.
- Ensure implementation of all Company’s security and safe management measures according to set policies/guidelines.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are practised and maintained at all times.
- Understand retail landscape, competitor, customer profile and industry trends.
- Analyse business information and implement business strategies to improve sales/profit targets.
- Manage outlet administration according to set policies and submission deadlines.
- Ensure proper records at all times and maintain confidentiality on all Company’s matters.
- Provide leadership and actively demonstrate care toward employees to build and reinforce a strong team spirit.
- Train and develop employees to achieve their full potential and job satisfaction needs.
- Handle recruitment professionally to provide a good brand experience to candidate.
- Comply with the Company’s personnel policies and guidelines.
- Resolve staff disputes by collating all the facts and reaching an equitable decision promptly.
- Establish action programs that result in high standard of customer service, courtesy and product knowledge training to employees to build customer respect and confidence in the Company.
- Other tasks as and when assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Results driven and customer-oriented with a passion for the service industry.
- Good leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong delegation and multi-tasking skills able to prioritise effectively.
- A good team player with ability to collaborate and engage internal / external stakeholders.
