About the job
- Prepare and review journal entries and month-end closing activities for Group and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and review regulatory reports, annual financial statements, and tax matters.
- Address queries from auditors and regulators
- Support the department with internal/external audits and reporting.
- Drive process improvements, enhance local regulatory reporting, and work on finance automation projects.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with regional integration projects.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting, ideally in the insurance industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work hands-on when necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
