The Reliability Engineering & Automations team prides itself in keeping Visa systems up and secure, catering to the 24*7 needs of the business. The Software Engineer, a highly motivated individual contributor based in Singapore, responsible for designing and developing effective solutions in accordance with industry standards using best software engineering practices.
As part of the team, you will be required perform design, coding and testing while following the set development standards. The role requires a technologist who has the passion to solve problems, refactor existing code, learn and pick up new technologies based on the needs of the organization, and level-up on existing expertise.
Responsibilities:
Design, create documentation, and implement new systems, as well as enhance and modify existing software while complying with design specifications, security guidelines, and coding standards.
The individual should have a passion for delivering zero-defect code.
Develop scalable real-time low-latency solutions in an agile delivery method
The individual needs to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
