Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for backend information systems related projects, and he/ she is expected to be a part of a dynamic team responsible for the migration and upgrading of our backend information system. Other key areas of work include but is not limited to refining of existing processesas well as the development and deployment of new technology projects driven by the unit. Candidate may also be required to travel between outlets for deployment of the various projects when necessary and interact with people from all levels.
- Work with various stakeholders on system cutover, setup and configuration
- Coordinate with stores and ITD to ensure project is delivered according to implementation timelines
- Participate in review existing business processes and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and execute test plan
- Develop and execute test plan for migration testing
- Participate in end-to-end UAT with proper documentation being maintained, and assist teammates in ad-hoc UAT work or project rollout
- Update SOPs and user guides and provide training to facilitate the rollout of changes made/new functions
- Provide on-site support for stores during go live when necessary and escalate issue resolution when stores encounter issues
- Assist in ensuring all tasks planned are executed on time as per schedule
- Ensure timely response and closure of production issues, follow-up on issues, root cause resolution with corrective / preventive measures, and conduct deployment of production bug fixes to ensure issues are permanently resolved
- Oversee daily operational support on business systems related matters (eg. SAP)

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6pm
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Business or Business Info Systems
- Working experience in the retail industry is preferred but not compulsory
- Background in SAP Retail is a bonus but not a pre-requisite. Candidate should be comfortable working with different types of backend info systems.
