Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall productivity and profitability of the outlet.
- Manage and coordinate daily operations for both Front of House and Heart of House, ensuring effective delegation.
- Engage in long-term planning to develop initiatives that align with the outlet's goals.
- Identify potential problems and friction points, working proactively to find solutions that maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Monitor reservation status and maintain communication with the culinary team.
- Plan and control staffing levels to meet business needs within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the Talent & Culture team to recruit qualified colleagues.
- Facilitate daily team briefings and conduct monthly departmental meetings.
- Ensure ongoing training and re-training as necessary.
- Maintain service standards and procedures, ensuring compliance by all staff.
- Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance in the outlet and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to lead the Food & Beverage (F&B) team in personalizing the guest dining experience, adhering to Aqua E Farina standards.
- Foster a caring approach to guest service within the F&B team.
- Address guest complaints promptly, implementing appropriate service recovery measures and preventive actions for future occurrences.
- Work closely with the culinary team to uphold food quality and create attractive food offerings that enhance the outlet's image and drive business volume.
- Regularly review guest feedback with the team, implementing effective solutions for continuous improvement.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain control measures to manage food, beverage, labor, and operating supply costs in line with budgetary goals.
- Continuously plan, implement, and assess profit enhancement programs, focusing on menu engineering, revenue generation, productivity, pricing, and product costing.
- Provide necessary training and guidance to the F&B team to ensure the highest standards of product and service quality.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a competent F&B team that exceeds guest expectations and contributes to business success.
- Support the F&B team in maintaining consistency in service, adopting a collaborative leadership style, and holding regular team meetings.
- Continuously develop your knowledge and skills to grow as a business partner and leader.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Degree in Management, Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge in Online Marketing and Analytics
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
- Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work extended hours and on public holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of modern kitchen equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Italian language and culture is a plus, but not required.
