Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our efforts in expanding the telecommunications battery and energy storage systems business across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth in the telecom and energy storage sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of battery technologies, energy storage systems, and the dynamics of the APAC market.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for telecom batteries and energy storage systems across the APAC region.

Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the telecommunications and energy storage industries.

Lead sales efforts and negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and revenue goals.

Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, product management, and marketing to align product offerings with market needs and customer demands.

Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to anticipate changes in the competitive landscape and adjust business strategies accordingly.

Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings to build brand recognition and network with potential clients and partners.

Oversee contract management and ensure successful execution of agreements with new and existing clients.

Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in both telecom and energy storage sectors.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum of 8-10 years of management level experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the telecommunications or energy storage industries.

Proven track record in developing and managing business opportunities in the APAC region.

Strong understanding of battery technologies (telecom batteries and energy storage systems) and their applications in the telecom and energy sectors.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel across the APAC and other region as needed.
