Business System Analyst, Banking
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Change Management & Process Re-engineering: Actively participate in strategic change management initiatives, including new business and product launches, and process re-engineering efforts.
- Business Systems Analysis: Perform detailed business systems analysis, identifying and documenting business unit requirements to ensure alignment with technology solutions.
- Interface Between Business and Technology: Serve as the primary interface between technology and business areas, facilitating communication and ensuring mutual understanding.
- Project & Process Specifications: Create comprehensive project and process specifications, including functional and technical requirements, process models, and system diagrams.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional project teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, schedules, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with and engage stakeholders at all levels within the organization, managing expectations and ensuring clear, efficient messaging between technology and business units.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 6-9 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic technology concepts and software development methodologies (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
- Domain Expertise: Experience or exposure to regulation, credit origination, or corporate lending is an added advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and engage stakeholders across various functions, ensuring clear understanding of both business and technical requirements.
- Business & Technology Bridge: Ability to effectively bridge the gap between technology and business functions, translating complex technical concepts into understandable business language.
- Independent Working: Demonstrated ability to work independently, completing tasks with minimal guidance and managing priorities efficiently.
