We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager with extensive experience in the Payments domain to oversee and drive test management for complex payment systems projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing testing engagements, working in a multi-shore model, and ensuring quality delivery in both functional and non-functional testing. The ideal candidate will also possess SWIFT experience and play a key role in stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and ensuring project success within the banking and payments industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end testing engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with development managers to ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and delivery plans.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accurate and complete definitions of business requirements.
- Drive stakeholder management, scope management, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project progress at both project and program levels, including task/milestone tracking, resource management, and risk/issue management.
- Implement and uphold software quality assurance processes within the Payments domain.
- Assess the impact of system changes on business processes, technology systems, and interfacing systems.
- Manage and report financial budgets, forecasting, and metrics to measure project health.
- Coordinate with globally dispersed teams to drive efficiency and productivity through best practices.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience initiating new projects or taking over existing ones, with strong project control capabilities.
- Hands-on expertise with payment systems and experience in SWIFT payment messaging, Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) programs.
- Experience with payments and cash management products like Fundtech, Clear2Pay, ACI, Montran, and Dovetail.
- Minimum of 6+ years of project management experience within globally dispersed teams, with a deep understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Expertise in defining testing approaches, creating schedules, and meeting deadlines for testing activities.
- Experience working with various vendors and internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of testing activities.
- Strong knowledge of defect management tools such as HPQC, JIRA, and familiarity with NFR testing.
- Experience with test automation tools like QTP, LISA, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage projects across diverse technology platforms, including legacy systems (mainframes) and open systems (.Net, Java, etc.).
