Role: Senior Account Manager
This position is a great opportunity for sales professionals that are looking to progress their careers within a progressive industry leading Learning & Development business.
As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for delivering new clients for the business & responding to inbound marketing qualified leads. In 2023, 5000+ MQLs have been delivered to the sales team.
At DCD>Academy, we have a wide range of clients across multiple data center segments and different geographies. You will be responsible for securing new accounts and growing our market penetration.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all leads and contacts are followed up in a timely and professional manner.
- Self-sourcing pipeline by prospecting new clients.
- Create a sales plan in order to win-back clients and secure new business across APAC.
- Write great proposals, using the available DCD sales resources and the information gathered through client research and interaction.
- Carry out effective research and preparation for your calls and meetings – use the knowledge of our industry experts within DCD when required.
- Log accurately all activities on Salesforce.
- Meet your sales targets and work in line with the KPI’s.
- Support and work in collaboration with the Account Managers, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations teams.
- Develop your data center industry knowledge and build your professional network (in particular using Sales Navigator and Cognism). Attend industry meetups and related events when required.
Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
- A hunter mentality and approach to sales.
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience.
- An educative, insight-based sales process in handling business briefs, responding with considered and creative solutions. Proficiency in SPIN or MEDDIC Selling would be preferable.
- High standard of interpersonal skills, professional confidence and tenacity.
- Proven track record in consistently high call rates.
- Good organisational and time management skills: essential to handle a large number of leads.
- Strong sense of customer service and client management.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to all audiences.
- Demonstrable proficiency in proposal writing.
- Proficient with Google Suite and CRM databases (ideally Salesforce).
- Ability to travel to designated events when required.
- University educated or equivalent.
