As an AML Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the bank’s adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a robust AML assurance and quality control program.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and oversee a comprehensive AML assurance and quality control program to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
· Conduct regular AML reviews and monitor progress of remediation initiatives.
· Leverage data analytics and innovative testing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs associated with compliance activities.
· Provide periodic updates on assurance review progress to team leadership and stakeholders.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the overall control environment and promote sustainable growth.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
· Proven experience in wholesale banking audit, AML audit, or compliance assurance.
· Strong understanding of AML regulations, governance, processes, and controls within the banking, payment services, and fintech industries.
· Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive approach to communication.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
· Mandarin language skills are a plus but not required.
