Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end workflow to support the audit of financial instrument valuation, including:
- Create the framework for the CoE
- Develop standard operating procedures
- Coordination with KDN and Iradar
- Work closely with Department of Professional Practices to drive Standardisation and Compliance
- Work closely with Audit Learning and Development to develop and deliver valuation related training
Requirements
- Excellent academic background preferably with a professional qualification from CVA, CFA or equivalent body
- Strong understanding of International Valuation Standards
- Ideally 7+ years of valuation experience acquired valuation practice within an accounting, professional services firm, or a bank
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of financial instrument valuation methodologies.
- Understanding of auditing and accounting standards or ex-auditor or qualified accountant preferred
- Knowledge of business valuation and intangible asset valuation
- Strong command of excel and Microsoft Office applications is critical
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and Partners, and operate well within a team environment including the ability to interact with audit clients
- High proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential.
