Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting cost analysis and cost control throughout the project
- Evaluating and negotiating contracts with vendors/clients
- Understanding the requirements, prepare and submit tenders with specific deadline
- Identifying and weighing up risk assessment
- Attend site briefing and survey before tendering the project
- Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities and discuss with management for final submission
- Other quantity surveyor duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experienced in engineering in construction is advantageous
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Willing to travel from the office to various sites as required
- Able to work independently
- Proficient in MS office
- Advanced Excel is a plus
- AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
