Purpose of the Job
Plan and organize a diverse range of activities and programs for active ageing services and inter-generational programs. Support the Centre Manager in implementing the eldercare project at the Active Ageing Centre.
Key responsibility areas:
- Support the planning, coordination, and organization of outreach and public education events targeted at the general public.
- Collaborate in the creation of outreach and corporate communication materials, such as signage, posters, banners, collaterals, messages, or emails, for mass communications.
- Develop, review, and implement new membership programs aimed at engaging the public.
- Facilitate the orientation and coordination of training sessions for volunteers.
- Compile and submit reports, claims, documentations, or statistics to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as delegated by the Centre Manager or Management.
Required qualifications and experience
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related discipline.
- Proficient in planning activities and programs, with prior experience in outreach initiatives.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Self-motivated with strong coordination and organization skills.
- Patient and tactful, exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Competent in developing, organizing, and executing communication materials for programs.
- Skilled in both written and spoken English, Chinese, and local major dialects to effectively engage with seniors.
