Primary Function
You will manage all quality assurance and quality control work scope of a construction project and ensure that all assigned jobs and documentations are in order and completed on time in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and codes where applicable
- Maintain work performance records, inspection records and other related items
- Coordinate QC inspection schedules with clients and other relevant parties
- Conduct internal/external quality control audits
- Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actions
- Develop and prepare work method statements
- Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports
- Participate in QA/QC meetings with client, subcontractors and project team
Prerequisites:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in construction projects
- Knowledge of QC inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes
- Must be independent, meticulous and organised
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willing to work long hours
