Donald McArthy Trading is in the business of trading and processing non-ferrous metals, minor metals, rare earth metals, high temperature alloys and super alloys.
Job Overview:
- Responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the processed metals meet customer expectations and complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Support the Assurance Supervisor in daily operations of maintaining and improving our quality management processes and systems, and ensuring compliance with all quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors
- Ensure all finished products to be exported meet the specifications required and complies with industry standards
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in quality control procedures
- Maintain inventory update of materials
- Document inspection outcomes by ensuring all completed detailed reports submitted to management are accurate
- Ensure all equipments are maintained according to SOP and overseeing repairs when not in good running condition
- Ensure the team completes the assigned daily work schedule and production target is achieved
- Ensure all employees follow workplace safety rules
Qualifications & Key Traits:
• Bachelor's degree
• Min 4 years experience in quality assurance management within the manufacturing industry
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Experience with regulatory/ safety compliance and quality audits
