We are an established car dealer with own workshop with more than 40 mechanics. We have a vacancy for Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of workshop staff, including controller, mechanics and interns.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute workshop activities and projects.
- Allocate tasks and monitor the progress of work to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide technical solutions to mechanics when they encounter issues.
- Inspect and assess the quality of work produced in the workshop.
- Ensure that all products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and available when needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of workshop tools and equipment.
- Perform hands-on repairs in the absence of a team member.
- Monitor workflow to identify any bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the workshop.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Technical certification in Automotive, Engineering, Mechanical or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a workshop environment.
- Strong understanding of workshop machinery, tools, and processes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

- Shift - Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday
