Key Responsibilities:
- Periodically review patients to evaluate their progress, ensure high-quality care, and identify any additional care or services they may need.
- Provide supervisory guidance and support to staff members.
- Attend meetings and participate in assigned committees.
- Conduct regular audits of staff performance to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance. Assist in reviewing and updating KPIs to enhance nursing standards if needed.
- Help manage the ward roster to ensure sufficient staffing at all times.
- Take corrective and preventive actions to address or minimize critical quality issues.
- Review patients’ case notes and nursing documentation to ensure records are accurate and meet legal documentation requirements.
- Implement and monitor infection control practices and ensure staff adherence to these protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 6 years of experience in managing and supervisory roles.
- Proven experience in managing a multi-disciplinary ward, inpatient ward, roster manpower
- Must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
