Job Description
- Strategic Account Management: Oversee and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling LCL services to achieve growth targets.
- New Business Development (40% Hunting): Actively prospect and acquire new customers by leveraging market knowledge and networking, ensuring a steady pipeline of business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of 7 members, setting clear performance goals, providing guidance, and coordinating efforts to achieve both individual and collective sales targets for the LCL shipping service unit.
The Successful Applicant
- About 5 years of Sales/Key Account Management experience in the Logistics and Shipping industry, with a focus on LCL Shipping Services
- Experience in managing a team, comprising of Commercial members covering both Indoor and Outdoor sales
- Established industry network with strong connections with outdoor sales teams, shipping lines, and forwarding companies to leverage relationships for business growth.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales volume targets, with a focus on driving incentives and achieving profitability goals.
