Responsibilities:
- Assist BD Director in managing program related issues and correspondences
- Coordinate and work with tool and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth program launches
- Design work flows and optimise production layout together with production department to improve machine efficiency
- Source and gather tooling and components quotation from supplier for initial project start up
- Work on new quotation and packaging requirement for new parts requirement
- Support production and quality departments to troubleshoot the processing & quality issues pertaining to plastic parts
- Monitor and track progresses on the program activities
- Provide customer support and response to customer enquiries on time
- Update all tooling activities and bill of materials and project review records
- Follow up and track on engineering changes for each tooling
- Coordinate all mold trials activities
- Design and work with supplier for jig and fixture required for secondary processes
- Prepare periodically tool-life report for customer
- Any other duties as and when assigned
- Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Good knowledge of project management & production process
- Good verbal and written communication in English
- Independent, good initiative and able to multitask in fast paced environment
- Experience in handling Healthcare product is an advantage
