ALLIED EDUCATOR FOR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Conduct initial consultations with each client and perform fun assessments.
- Meet with the family, healthcare professionals and educators to obtain better insight into each child’s presenting concerns.
- Creating simulated conditions to observe the behaviour of each child.
- Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to each child's cognitive, social, emotional and functional needs.
- Oversee the implementation of the plan through scheduled supervisor evaluation visits to sessions
- Manage a team of behavioral therapists
- Supervise and monitor work progress and performance of behavior therapists, provide comprehensive support and guidance.
Requirement:
● Bachelor’s degree in related fileds (Master degree will be preferred)
● Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the analysis of behaviour (ABA VB Therapy) and training related to working with children who have Autism and developmental disorders.
● Competence in behaviour management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication including preparing IEP (Individual educational plan) report writing, organisational skills and interpersonal relations
● Ability to work with a variety of clients with regards to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
● Ability to manage a team
● Knowledge of DTT and NET programming and implementation
● Willing to work in multiple locations
