As a Performance Leader for Singapore Collections, the successful applicant will be accountable for managing 3rd party collection partners in Singapore servicing Call & Collect, Legal and other Specialty portfolios. The candidate will be responsible for maximizing collections effectiveness and minimizing operational risk. Working closely with and under the guidance of the Collections Manager and Director for JAPA, the incumbent will be results focused and will provide ongoing support and guidance to agency partners, conduct performance reviews and meet collection performance and governance expectations.
Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will:
• Adopt A hands-on approach to oversee/optimize agency performance.
• Partner with agencies to identify opportunities/ root cause, implement and monitor solutions to improve overall performance
• Demonstrate Strong analytical skills to understand key performance drivers and drive collections effectiveness
• Ensure that the partner is audit ready 24/7 and drive compliance to regulatory and AXP requirements
• Collaborate with agencies and internal partners for completion of all Agency audits including POMT, TLM, TSM, GCM etc. and timely remediation of findings
• Engage with partners in hiring, training and developing talent. Ensure timely completion of all essential trainings
• Conduct regular site visits and telephone reviews of performance & governance
• Document daily, weekly and monthly engagement actions with outside agencies
• Implement and maximize the usage of collection treatment tools/strategies
• Collaborate with teams across Global Collections and leverage best practices to deliver strong performance
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with teams within GCFN as well as other business unit’s i.e. Risk management, GCO, Compliance etc.
• Self-directed and passionate about driving results with experience in credit / collections operations essential. Preferably, experienced in working with 3rd party vendors
• Knowledge of court systems, litigation and court management highly desirable however not essential
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - to gain insight and act from analyzing data
• Ability to partner directly with 3rd Party agencies to drive results
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and contribute at various levels of the business
• Flexibility to operate in a Global environment spanning multiple geographies and time zones
• Strong verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills to maintain strong relationships within and outside AXP
• Ability to effectively multitask and work in a fast pace, dynamic environment
