Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, including preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals and drive business performance.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and present findings to support strategic initiatives.
- Manage the month-end and quarter-end financial closing process.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, controls, and procedures.
- Mentor a team of financial analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional development.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
