As a key member of the Production Support Team, you'll:
- Provide operational support for both the trading and tech teams
- Investigate infrastructure/application issues on a live production system
- Monitor applications and infrastructure alerts, reacting quickly
- Ability to troubleshoot and escalate application issues
- Build/deploy tools to improve our automation and monitor stack
- Take ownership and respond to open support tickets
- Prepare/update new or current technical documentation and troubleshooting guides
- Respond to queries and issues raised by users
We'd love for you to have:
- 1 to 3 years of strong experience with Linux (Bash)
- Python/Shell scripting
- Experience dealing with a global infrastructure setup with over 200 servers
- Experience developing automation scripts to improve procedures
- Self driven and motivated with a thirst for learning
It will be highly useful if you have prior experience in the following technologies:
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet/Ansible
- Familiar with monitoring tools like Nagios/Icinga
- Knowledge of database, influxDB, mysql
- Good knowledge of CentOS/RHEL/Fedora
- Good knowledge of Networking
- Good knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Terraform.
- Familiar with public cloud providers like Google cloud, AWS
- Familiar with confluence, JIRA
- Knowledge of exchange trading protocol ITCH/OUCH/FIX
- Good knowledge of exchange connectivity and onboarding process
- Hands-on experience on setting up workstation with multiple screens
- Active Directory knowledge would be a plus
