Job Responsibilities
- Supervise Production: Manage Production Operators and oversee manufacturing in the Battery Recycling Plant, including various areas like Battery Feeding and Chemical Plant.
- Performance Reviews: Evaluate and address performance, discipline, and time management issues among Production Operators.
- Schedule Production: Create production schedules and set performance metrics, ensuring targets are met by monitoring output and making necessary adjustments.
- Accountability: Ensure goals for productivity, quality, and training are achieved, providing regular reports to management and stakeholders, and proposing improvements when needed.
- Lead Improvements: Drive Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) and collaborate with engineering on investigations and corrective actions.
- Training Management: Ensure staff are properly trained according to work instructions, during regular and overtime hours.
- Monitor Materials: Track the usage and availability of raw materials for production, suggesting solutions for any shortages.
- Manage Variances: Oversee material and labor variances to meet standards, recommending solutions for discrepancies.
- Maintenance Oversight: Handle basic maintenance of production machinery to maximize output and monitor equipment performance.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma in a Chemical-related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
- Document Management: Ability to keep organized records and files.
- Experience: Previous experience in production management and troubleshooting.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn
