- Planning, coordination and implementation of construction, commissioning and closure plan to ensure of contractual project is delivered to meet contractual conditions of performance and deliverable timeline with low wastage.
- Preparation of costing and estimation, logistic planning, departmental briefings, quality control, schedule managements, budget management and communication.
- Manage contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards and project schedule and cost.
- Provie accurate and on-time detail engineering works for tender scope of work and with compliance against contract specification.
- Develops and implements corporate construction policies.
- Oversee the detailed design, construction and commissioning of mechanical ventilation in all required areas to WTE, MRF, Refuse Bunker, Boiler House, Base and conception design by consultant.
- Oversee the detailed design, construction and commissioning of air conditioning in all required offices, CCR and all other areas to provision of a chilled water system and all required supporting structural steelwok, pipework, electrical and necessary dampers and controls.
- Oversee the detailed design, construction and commissioning of Building Management System (BMS) and Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) with manual, database, all hardware and software, sensors and intergrated into the main CMS and DCS in accordance with project specifications.
- Oversee the detailed design, construction and commissioning of smoke control / ventilator system.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers.
- Liaise with internal department, government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers to ensurre smooth operation of projects.
- Provide timely project progress reporting to Management and attending to all site meetings.
- Ensure business objective is obtained and complies with all relevant regulation and laws.
- Ensure Quality Assurance and ISO Standards are met on all construction related activites and customer quality specifications are constantly met.
- Manpower allocation to maximise productivity.
Job requirement
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
- Well versed in MS Office
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze issues and creatively identify solutions
- High level of initiative, independent and meticulous
- At least 6 - 8 years of working experience in supervisory / managerial capacity.
- Those with work exposure to complex government construction project willl be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under great pressure and short timeline.
- Willingness to work in Tuas are with transportation pickup as designated MRT station.
