We are looking for a junior HR Director who will be a hands-on HR Business Partner to support in our mission to bring #PositiveFood to the world? The Southern Asia region was established recently and it is a lean and entrepreneurial team that is growing.


Your Mission: Lead Southern Asia full spectrum HR across 9 markets, support the regional GM and management team (Marketing Director, CFO, Country Managers) in managing HR-related operations and talent management across the region.


Your Team: You will report to the Southern Asia General Manager and be part of a multi-functional HQ based in Singapore with the regional HR Coordinator reporting to you. You will need to coordinate frequently with Group HQ HR and centres of excellence in France. You will be expected to coordinate with colleagues in 9 different markets including travel and across timezones.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage full spectrum HR across 9 markets (HR Operations, Payroll, C&B, Talent, etc)
  • Strategic business partnering to regional GM, regional leadership including MKT, FIN, Country Managers to discuss organizational design, capability, talent management and other HR matters
  • HR Budget and Governance including Annual HR Budget, Long-term Planning preparations, presentations and stakeholder engagements
  • Talent Management and Development including leadership development, training plans, mobility, succession, career and diversity strategies
  • Run Global HR Priorities and Annual Campaigns (E.g. salary reviews, performance reviews, benefits renewal) and HR Reporting
  • Manage compensation and benefits including payroll, benchmarking, systems, on/off boarding, expatriation relocation and visas
  • Managing company recruitment together with workforce planning
  • Manage regional Safety plan and CSR activation plans for the whole region
  • Coaching and assisting line managers to understand and effectively implement HR policies, procedures, initiatives and best practices
  • Maintaining a positive work culture in line with the values of the Company through local employee engagement activities and surveys.
  • Ensuring that all Employee Relations activity is dealt with, fairly, professionally, and in line with local statutory guidance
  • Hands-on management of daily HR operational tasks including updating of HR systems, data, contracts, reporting, audits, processing of invoices and accruals
  • Manage all relevant HR external vendors, consultants and contractors
  • Reviewing and updating employment terms, HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Support in other adhoc legal and office administration e.g. local subsidiary setup, local office rentals, travel agency selection
  • Participate actively in business events and product tasting activities as a representative
  • Manage, coach and proactively develop your direct report
  • Support in adhoc global HR projects where needed

Our Ideal Profile and Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Regional HR Manager and minimum 8 years total working experience in a HR role
  • Prior Experience working in FMCG, consumer goods, F&B, or similar is a bonus
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in HR or other business disciplines
  • Familiar with full spectrum of HR
  • Comfortable working autonomously and proactively in an ambiguous matrix organization
  • Strong business acumen and working as a business partner with commercial teams and multifunctional senior stakeholders
  • Good regional labour law knowledge across Southern Asia
  • "Can do" attitude, drive, energy and personal accountability
  • Hands-on yet able to see the big picture quickly and prioritize effectively
  • Flexible to coordinate across different timezones as needed (E.g. France), Occasional international travel for internal meetings and trainings.
