Salary Range: SGD 6,000 – 7,000 per month
Role Overview:
As a Facultative Broker, you will be the primary contact for day-to-day communication with Facultative accounts, ensuring effective follow-up and management of correspondences. Your role involves understanding client businesses, conducting research on industry trends, and collaborating with the Actuarial and Analytics Department to craft tailored solutions for clients. You'll monitor client satisfaction, providing feedback and suggestions to senior management to ensure high levels of account retention. Additionally, you will help drive revenue by developing new business through both existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for daily communications with Facultative reinsurance accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and management of client correspondences.
- Research and develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and relevant industry issues to enhance client engagement.
- Collaborate with the Actuarial and Analytics team to present optimal solutions for clients.
- Gather and report on client satisfaction, offering insights and recommendations to senior management to strengthen relationships and ensure retention.
- Stay informed about the Company’s service offerings and market trends to enhance your role and contribute to sales growth.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities by sourcing additional business from existing clients and attracting new clients.
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline with 2-3 years of client-facing experience, preferably within the reinsurance industry (Facultative reinsurance experience is advantageous but not required).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Able to travel if required.
- Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent, or the ability to complete CGI within a reasonable timeframe upon employment.
