Job Description:
SJ Digital Media Solutions is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for creating compelling short-form video content, including reels and shorts, that align with the latest social media trends. This role involves end-to-end content production, from conceptualization to execution, including video editing and basic animation.
You will work closely with brand managers, the design team, and copywriters to ensure brand consistency across all content. You will also meet with clients to understand their briefs and collaborate on content ideas that resonate with their target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) for various social media platforms.
- Plan, conceptualize, and execute creative content ideas that align with current social media trends.
- Animate videos with basic motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate with brand managers to understand content strategy and align videos with brand messaging.
- Work closely with the design and copywriting teams to ensure cohesive content delivery.
- Attend client meetings to understand briefs and develop video concepts based on client needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media content creation, video editing, and basic animation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic skills in animation tools (e.g., After Effects) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Previous experience working with clients and managing content briefs is an advantage.
