PRIMARY FUNCTION
Lead and oversee activities and projects related to the product lifecycle phase of all products launched, and to be launched into production in the company for purpose of validation, productivity/continuous improvements, capacity, transfer or EOL.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Lead and oversee assigned projects:
a) Lead and rally relevant resources from Manufacturing, QA, Supply Chain to manage project activities and timeline and project requirements.
b) Communicate effectively with customers and provide all necessary services to ensure customer satisfaction during project phase.
c) Carried out project costing and analysis and submitted for approval where applicable.
d) Ensure the following project tasks are carried out effectively:
· Manage project expenses like tooling, materials, other project expenses etc to meet budget.
· Update of project schedule and plans promptly.
e) Perform proper project documentation
2) Familiarize with customer standards eg Certified Supplier Program and ensure necessary documentations and practices comply with these standards.
3) Participate actively in Management initiatives to resolve critical issues, improve overall operational performance / productivities etc.
4) Train and mentor new Assistant Engineer to ensure they understand how to perform their job role.
5) Perform any jobs that are assigned by Management.
