Key Responsibilities:
- To overlook the customization and implementation of the analytical instrumentation IMS (Ion Mobility Spectrometry) technology and its designed instrumentation for PUB’s requirement in its water application project. Training on IMS system will be provided.
- To be responsible as the leader in the project to co-ordinate with PUB – the user, and the technology developer – a European solution provider, to develop and implement the IMS solution to meet PUD’s requirement in this project.
- Be able to work closely, and interface with PUB’s department, and collaborate with other teams within the organization, to fulfill in developing the IMS solution, to meet all PUB’s requirement.
- Be able to meet project deliverables and timelines, ensuring customized system are in accordance to PUB’s requirements.
- To train PUB’s staffs on IMS solution, and be responsible for subsequent trouble shooting and servicing the clients on the system.
- Work closely with cross functional teams or external suppliers, including technical support, manufacturing and field services, as required.
- Secondary role is to assist the MD and in your best effort to fulfill the assigned tasks.
Requirements:
· With 2 – 3 years of working experience; preferably in related industry, such as Waste Water and Water related industry, Chemical related industry.
· Bachelor degree in science, or related engineering field.
· Singaporean will be considered. Foreign worker quota not available.
· Experience working on laboratory/field equipment, such as GCMS, FTIR or spectrometer, would be a plus; but not necessary. Training will be provided.
· Be prepared to work indoor and outdoor.
· Excellent written, oral communication and documentation skills.
· Able to use software such as Solidworks, Arduino programming, would be advantage.
· Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in cross-cultural and cross functional global product development environment.
· Must be willing to travel overseas, if required.
