The candidate will work together with a multidisciplinary research team to develop nanoscale novel quantum photonic & nanophotonic devices. The job description will include:
- Optical characterizations of the fabricated quantum optical & nanophotonic devices.
- Data processing, programming, and automation of characterization setups.
- Scientific dissemination (journal papers, conferences, and patents)
Job Requirements:
- A PhD degree in physics/ quantum optics/ nanophotonics / electrical and electronic engineering
- Strong publication track record.
- Strong foundation knowledge in quantum optics / nanophotonics.
- Strong capability with optical alignment and optical characterization is an essential requirement.
- Self-motivated and passionate on research work.
- Possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience with fabrication or manufacturing of optical elements or devices will be an advantage.
- Experience in FDTD or COMSOL for quantum optics / nanophotonic simulations will be an advantage.
