Overview:
Candidate will be responsible in overseeing overall accounting functions and ensure timely tax-related submissions.
Scope of Work:
- Enforcing financial policies in ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Track, manage, and report on assets.
- Prepare, and maintain accurate journal entries.
- Conduct periodic audits of research grants, ensuring proper allocation and compliance.
- Manage GST reverse charge transactions.
- Ensure timely submission of withholding taxes.
Requirements:
- Minimally possess a Diploma in the field of Accountancy, Finance, Business or Management Studies.
- Possess 1 -2 years of relevant experience, having the knowledge of full set of accounts.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mature, open-minded, independent, and pleasant demeanor.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
