We are looking for the following position:


Technical Project Manager


Job Responsibility:

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering project management services to the customers. You

will be working closely with engineers, presales and vendor professional services.

To succeed in this role, you have to have a clear understanding of the project scope of work and to ensure

timely & accurate delivery to achieve customer satisfaction and deadlines. As you collaborate with

customers, you need to exercise critical thinking to manage situations when customer requests are beyond

the scope of work.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Single point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Lead the project planning and scheduling, define project tasks and milestones.
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Network design review High Level Design / Low Level Design (HLD/LLD).
  • Installation, configuration and implementation.
  • Testing, integration and migration. MOP & UAT review.
  • Project commissioning, documentation and handover.
  • Escalation management and support to projects.
  • Project resource planning and allocation.
  • To perform risk assessment, quality management.
  • Adhere to ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 standards.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Logistic management for project inventory and project RMA.
  • Review tender related documents specifically in project management, delivery and scope of work.
  • Monitor and analyse project team performance and take necessary corrective measures.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education in Data Communications or Computer Networks Engineering.
  • Preferably Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Familiar with PMBOK project management process group and knowledge area
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Diligent in documentation, reporting and tasks tracking ability.
  • Possess analytical skills to be able to solve issues that may arise during the project execution with the
  • ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
  • Possess excellent communication and people management skills to keep project team members
  • motivated, perform conflict resolutions and make challenging decisions.
  • Possess good time management skills as you will be working with project team members, customers and management, often handling multiple projects and parties concurrently.
  • Preferably with experience in managing and implementing network infrastructure projects for service
  • providers, financial institutions and large enterprises.
  • Able to work flexi hours (even after office hours when required).
  • Preferably with good knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas:
  • IP network services and solutioning for telcos, ISP, Mobile, Broadband Service Providers
  • LAN, WAN, WIFI Technologies, VLANs, STP/RSTP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, MPLS-TE, MPLS-VPN, 802.1x, QoS.
  • Traffic analysis technologies using network tap, port-mirroring, TCP/IP monitoring system.
  • Network automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
  • Network security solutions such as firewalls, CPE based IPSec VPN solutions, token-based authentication solution, intrusion detection systems, antivirus gateway, data encryption and PIN verification systems.
  • Appliance based proxy solutions and anti-virus security gateway.
  • Appliance based Server/firewall/WAN load balancers. WAN Optimisation systems and Applications Acceleration systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Google suite of Tools
  • Knowledge or experience in the following areas is an added advantage:
  1. Security solution such as PAM, Firewall, DDoS
  2. Packet Optical Network solutions such as IPoDWDM.
  3. Data Center, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, SDN and NFV.
  4. Linux/Unix system configuration, administration, shell scripting and programming languages
  5. such as Python.
  6. Search and Analytic Engine such as ElasticSearch
  7. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
