Job Descriptions:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Operations Executive Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in various aspects of trade operations, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in commodities trade and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the operations team in managing day-to-day tasks related to trade operations.
· Assist in preparing and reviewing sales and purchase contracts for accuracy and compliance.
· Help with the documentation process for import and export letters of credit (LC) under the guidance of senior staff.
· Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient cargo and vessel execution.
· Communicate with internal teams and external partners to assist in resolving any operational issues.
· Maintain accurate records and assist in data entry for all trade transactions in the system.
· Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance understanding of trade operations.
Key Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in maritime studies, supply chain management, international business, or a related field.
· Strong team spirits, organizational skills and attention to details.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
