Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in SDLC and 3 + years of Project Management, with a specialization in banking technology and cloud computing (AWS & Azure).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects within the banking sector, particularly in areas such as cloud networking, payment systems, and application development.
This role requires strong expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Banking Project Management: Lead the delivery of complex banking application and cloud projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and align with the bank’s business objectives.
- Cloud Networking & Security: Manage cloud projects specializing in AWS & Azure, with a focus on enhancing cloud network security, implementing Cloud Network Segmentation, and delivering cost-saving initiatives such as FinOps.
- Payment Systems Management: Oversee projects involving banking payment systems ,working closely with business users to integrate secure and scalable solutions.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as the primary liaison between banking business units, technical teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Implement and oversee Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall practices, tailoring project management methodologies to fit the banking environment.
- Team Leadership: Lead 2-3 Scrum teams, ensuring effective collaboration among developers, testers, and DevOps teams while driving Agile maturity.
- Risk & Vendor Management: Identify project risks, manage vendors, and establish governance structures to mitigate risks and ensure successful project delivery.
- Financial & Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensure cost control, and provide financial oversight, particularly in banking-related projects where budget precision is critical.

- Banking Expertise: Strong understanding of banking operations, including payment systems, core banking applications, and regulatory compliance.
- Cloud Technology: Extensive experience in cloud computing (AWS & Azure),.
- Agile & Waterfall Project Management: Proficient in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies,.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior banking leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Team Management: Strong leadership experience managing multiple Scrum teams, promoting innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within technology teams.
- Vendor & Risk Management: Skilled in managing vendors and mitigating risks in banking technology projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information, Communication & Technology
- 10+ years of experience in SDLC with 3+ years in Project Management within the banking sector.
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Computing (AWS & Azure).
- Certifications:
- Scrum Certified Professional (SCP) certification is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
