Job description:
- Responsible for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. Adhere to procurement policies and processes both internal and external.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts. Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve project cost reductions and timely delivery.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Sourcing for suppliers and price negotiation with the suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices, both internal and external.
- Ability to review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services with a focus on cost efficiency and quality.
- Experience in managing inventories, maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records, and handling supplier databases.
- Proven experience in maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ability to research, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on qualifications, product ranges, and delivery times.
- Strong skills in preparing budgets, cost analyses, and various procurement reports.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project cost savings and ensure timely deliveries.
- Skilled in supplier sourcing and price negotiation to ensure favorable terms.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
